Best quality bulb at amazing price
My oem Acura HID bulbs were getting dim after 7 years of use so i decided to get them replaced. Acura dealership asked for $400 to get them both replaced with new ones. Horrified i began my search online for a better price. fortunately i came across this product on amazon and was surprised to see the low price of $40! I ordered them and they arrived the next day. Replacing HID bulbs on a TL is a tedious task so i spent about an hour replacing them. After driving at night i noticed much brighter light output as well as better range and cutoff. The light is a bit whiter than OEM as well. Overall i am very satisfied with these bulbs.

HID Headlight bulb
This HID bulb is an exact match for my 2002 Lexus IS300 at a terrific price. It arrived 3 days after I ordered it. When my headlight bulb first burned out 3 years ago, the Lexus Service Department charged me $490.00 to replace the bulb ($395 for the bulb plus $95.00 labor). They informed me that if I bought the bulb myself next time, I would only have to pay for labor. Since then, Lexus dropped the price of the bulb to $295.00. I called them to let them know I would purchase the bulb myself this time, and asked them to confirm the bulb type and model. They informed me that they had no information on the bulb, which I thought was rather sleezy. Fortunately, I still had the invoice when they replaced the bulb 3 years ago. The invoice did not have the name of the bulb, just a long invoice number. I googled the invoice number, and it came up with the Philips HID bulb, which sells at 5Xs less than what Lexus currently charges, and 6Xs less than what they charged me 3 years ago. It is a...

Buy in pairs.
I might have rated this product higher but have not used the product that long. I learned that Xenon lights change color during there life span (i.e., initially off white, then clean white, later blueish white and if they last long enough turning to a pinkish white). Knowing this if you want both head lights to match in color it is best to replace both at the same time. When I replaced only one head light bulb I noticed the new bulb emitted an off white or yellowish white while the older one emitted a clean white making my head lights look odd. Immediately after I had the second one replaced with a new one also and now they look great. I hope this helps others so that they don't waist time and energy going through the process of educating themselves as I did.

Closest to HID by far
I picked these up in Canada but it looks like they are now available in the US from Amazon. I was a bit skeptical because I have been trying to find a replacement bulb that replicates or comes close to HID Xenon for my '04 Touareg (I neglected to tick that option box when I bought it). Finally after trying three different brands and styles I have found the winner. I compared the HID lighting in my Audi to the Nighthawk Platinum and one would be hard pressed to tell the difference. It's also very noticeable in nighttime driving, I can see much better on the back country roads and it has given me more confidence when I do have to be out in the dark. A great product that's worth the $.Just keep in mind that when it comes to halogen bulbs the brighter they are, the hotter they burn and the quicker they burn out. If you have daytime running lights that utilize your headlamps don't expect to get much more than a year out of these (or any similar product such as the Silverstar)...

The only decent bulb for 9004, well worth the price
OK, everybody with a car that takes 9004 headlights know how horrible the design is. The low-beam is only 45 watts, focused basically like a cheap flood light only worse. Finally, there is a good bulb in 9004: the GE Nighthawk Platinum. It is the only +90 sold in the US, and the only one for 9004. (It is also available in almost every bulb type except sealed beams). As the 9004 was US-only, most of the good European bulbs (Osram Silverstar and Nightbreaker, Philips Xtreme Power, etc) are not available in 9004.No longer sold anywhere except Amazon (Wal-Mart used to sell them but they no longer carry this awesome bulb). The price is comparable to the Sylvania Silverstar, and cheaper than the Silverstar Ultra (which are both "faker" blue-tinted overpriced junk). Most "bright" and "white" bulbs cheat their way to white light by dipping their bulb in blue paint--it "looks" whiter but the blue filter really robs much of the light, and visibility is actually *decreased*. Better than OEM lights
Just replaced the high (9005) and low (9006) on my '03 4Runner. Installation took about 10 minutes. These lights are brighter than the OEM bulbs. The light is a bit whiter but not like the HID bulbs on my other car. If these bulbs weren't on sale, I probably would have gone with the HID upgrade for a few dollars more.When you put these in make sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb. Other than that; installation is simple:* Twist out the bulb assembly by turning 1/4* Release the retaining latch to remove the bulb* Replace the bulb* Insert the bulb assembly and lock in place turning 1/4If they don't last; I'll post an update.

excellent!
I really wanted HID headlights just for the pure white color...instead of forking out about 70 dollars for a converter kit I saw these and ordered them instead. I was VERY impressed with how white they appear. Aside from the HID lights themselves, these lights are about as close as your gonna get if your looking for a very white and bright light that helps you see very well. Ive only had them for a couple of months so we will see how they hold up...but so far I love them!

Well, I love them so far
I like the light from these lamps. I made sure to install with rubber gloves to prolong life, so I'll see if I can get a good year out of them at least. Given the fact that a set of these cost me less than the price of one standard OEM replacement bulb from the parts department of my dealer, it's not like I'm spending a fortune if I replace them yearly. Besides, the much better illumination makes it even more worth it. Although they won't be mistaken for HID lights, they are definitely whiter and brighter than standard halogen bulbs. It gives off a nice natural looking white and most importantly, bright light. I like the increased visibility it provides my wife's mini-van. I feel a bit safer when she's driving at night with the kids. That was my primary reason for buying these, not as an HID wanna-be. If you're buying these for a Xenon or HID look, save your money or buy an HID conversion kit instead. My car has factory HID and side by side, they look nothing alike, not even...

Has to last longer than Sylvania SilverStar's
The light produced is very white and the bulbs do produce much more light than the 'OEM' original equipment Philips bulbs my car came with... and these new bulbs do not have a hint of the OE yellowish tint.The bulbs in my opinion don't approach a bluish hue but are straight bright white. This may be due in part to the reflectors in my lens that hide the headlight bulb from eyesight including the blue painted tip.I have Pilot brand white LED bulbs in the corner marker lamps next to my headlights which are even whiter and closer to a bluish tint and much closer to HID color. I was hoping these CrystalVision headlight bulbs would match in color to the LED corner bulbs. There is a much better match with these new headlight bulbs than the normal yellowish OE bulbs.A true HID matching bulb would have a slight hint of blue and even more toward a light purplish color, at least from certain angles as true HID headlights look as you approach and pass them...

The bulb's are just a little brighter then the stock one's that came in my 2008 F-450. When a company call's the product "E-treme" I expect a very bright and clear light, instead I get a slightly brighter then stock.Hardly worth the time it took to install.

Nice Fog Light for Acura MDX
One of fog light for my '08 Acura MDX was out and I needed a replacement. Instead of taking to the dealer and getting overcharged for stock lamp and labor, I decided to do it my own. I came across this Xenon Yellow light bulb set and it had good reviews. I agree with other reviews and this lights really look good and perform very well. Although I had a little trouble with accessing the fog light (You have to take out bottom portion of the fender to access them), I'm glad I did it. Well worth to try it.

Not for a Mustang GT
Just a note to help others avoid my mistake: these bulbs, despite what Amazon may say, do NOT fit the Mustang GT's above-bumper fog lights. You must an H10, not an H11, like these. The confusion is increased by Amazon because their wizard denies that the H10 will work.Again, don't buy these for the above-bumper fogs on a Mustang GT.

Good "Budget" Fogs
I purchased these on a whim to replace my Luminics Titanium Whites and was amazed at how deep and rich the color was- well worth every penny. Are there better quality brands out there? Yes, but not at this price.
